Forest Stewardship Council
The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) helps take care of forests and the people and wildlife who call them home. FSC works to help forests protect animal habitat, indigenous peoples' rights, worker’s rights, and areas of significant environmental or cultural importance. They do this by setting standards for responsible forest management which are then used to evaluate forests to our strict environmental and social standards. Then fibre from certified forests is tracked all the way to the store through the FSC Chain of Custody system. FSC-certified wood, paper and other forest products are then sold with the FSC label by certified companies in the marketplace.
